This letter is in response to your below request for information received by The University of Texas System Administration (“System”) today, October 22, 2015, in which you seek, “[a]ll documents produced pursuant to Open Records Request Numbers 164320 and 167762, including all internal emails and communications regarding the gathering/analysis/ultimate production of documents for this request.”
System does not have an Open Records Request Number 167762; accordingly, we have no information responsive to this portion of your request. Attached, please find information System released in response to Open Records Request Number 164320. For the remaining information responsive to and regarding Request Number 164320, we will contact you by the statutory deadline.
Please note the information you requested contains the home address, home telephone number, social security number, emergency contact information, and/or family member information of a public employee or official. As allowed by section 552.024 of the Texas Government Code, this public employee or official has chosen to make this personal information confidential. Our office is prohibited by law from releasing this personal information to you, and therefore we have removed this information from the enclosed information we are providing to you. Normally, we must request a ruling from the Texas Attorney General before we can withhold any of the information you requested. However, section 552.024 allows us to withhold this specific information without requesting a ruling from the attorney general. You have the right to appeal our decision to withhold this information from you. Instructions for appeal are included in this correspondence, below my signature block. If you do not want to appeal, you do not need to do anything else.
Additionally, the responsive information also contains the e-mail addresses of members of the public. How to appeal the withholding of information under Gov’t Code section 552.024
If you wish to appeal the withholding of information discussed on the previous page, you must send the following to the attorney general:
1) a signed, written statement indicating your wish to appeal the withholding of information;
2) the name of the governmental body that withheld information from you;
3) the date you made your original request for information; and
4) a copy of your original request for information, or if you are unable to provide a copy, a description of your original request for information.
You may also submit written comments stating why you think the information should be released to you, but you are not required to do so.

Dear Beryl C.D. Lipton:
On January 19, 2016, the Attorney General (“AG”) issued the attached ruling, OR2016-01297, on your below public information request. System previously released responsive information to you on October 22, 2015.
In the noted opinion the AG determined that all of the information that System sought to withhold may be withheld from disclosure. Given that System previously released to you all information for which it did not seek a ruling, System has no further information to release to you per the ruling. Consequently, I am closing this inquiry.
