1. Any and all written or electronic communications to and from Dr. David T Allen regarding his methane research for EDF and possible flaws with the Bacharach Hi Flow Sampler used to collect data for that research.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

I'm following up on the last communication I received from UT saying that by September 8th the University would provide a disposition on the release of records responsive to a request I made on August 4th. I have not heard anything from the University since August 25th.
I found the University's appeal to the Texas Attorney General and to third parties to be peculiar, as well as the particular exemptions asserted.
What can you tell me about the status of this request?
