Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Historical licensing data for all licensed child care providers (active and closed) that were open anytime from 1/1/19-present:
• Provider name or ID
• Provider address
• Latest license issue date and expiration date
• First license issue date
• Any additional provider data that your agency collects
If electronic records from before 1/1/19 are available, I’d be happy to collect them as well.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

There will be a cost associated with obtaining these records due to the time needed to review and redact the documents. Attached are two separate cost estimate forms:
* Option A: Data from January 2019-Present
* Option B: All data from 2002-Present
Payment is required before work can begin.
If you'd like to move forward with this request, please send in your payment. Details on how to do that are included in the cost estimates.
Narrowing your request could lower the cost.

We are continuing to process your request. However, we are seeking some clarification:
1. In your request, you ask for “Electronic records of historical licensing data for all licensed child care providers (active and closed) that were open anytime from 2002-present.”
Are you asking for day care operations only? Or are you asking for both day care and residential operations?
1. You asked for historical licensing data for “licensed child care providers.” For your awareness, only licensed child care homes, child care centers, before/after school programs, and school age programs receive licenses. Other types may receive Registrations or Compliance Certificates.
Are you asking historical licensing data only for operations with an actual license?
Please note that this request for clarification extends the 10-business day deadline by 10 more business days, starting the day after we receive your clarification response. Your open records request will be considered withdrawn if we do not receive a clarification response from you within 61 days from the date of this email.
