You are correct, our 10th business day from the date of your request is today however, we have until 5 pm today.
Your request is being processed. If there are any exceptions to disclosure which pertain to the release of any of the documents or records you have requested, the Texas Public Information Act (PIA) requires that the City submit arguments to the Texas Attorney General within 10 business days from receiving your request, and the Attorney General has 45 business days to issue a ruling regarding the applicable exceptions to disclosure.
Information that is determined to be not subject to an exception under the PIA, or documents which are deemed releasable after receiving the Attorney General’s ruling, will be released to you promptly.
