Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the police report generated by the City of Sunrise Police Department pertaining to an incident the occurred on September 20, 2015 in which a man named Fidel Lopez allegedly disemboweled, or removed the intestines of, a woman named Maria Nemeth. The incident was widely reported in news media on September 21, 2015:

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
