Springdale Police correspondence about Duggar report

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), Ark. Code Ann. § § 25-19-101 to 25-19-109, I hereby request the following records:

All correspondence, written or electronic, between any employees of the Springdale Police Department and any other government officials or staff members, regarding a 2006 offense report (Case #1-06-006986) that concerned a sexual offense at the residence of Jim Bob Duggar.

Requested records include:

— Any correspondence, written or electronic, among the Springdale Police Department about the offense report.

— Any correspondence, written or electronic, between employees of the Springdale Police Department and Fourth Judicial Circuit Judge Stacey Zimmerman or her staff about the offense report, including Zimmerman’s decision to have the report destroyed.

The contents of the offense report have been widely described in news media. Judge Zimmerman’s decision to have the document destroyed have been widely reported as well:

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
