MuckRock users can file, duplicate, track, and share public records requests like this one. Learn more.
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:
All housing complaints against Debbie Ferrari, the Makrigiannis family or Dream City Real Estate from January 2008 (or the earliest date for which records are available) to the day this request is processed.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
Please provide an address or addresses this request is for. The Inspectional Services Department has all data and documents by address.
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your prompt response. How far back does Inspectional Services maintain records? Are they in a format that is easily exportable to a spreadsheet?
Thank you for your help.
The data I have is not exportable
What is (are) the address (es) you are looking for?
I would like the complaints for 81 and 83 Beacon Street (Apt 1, 2 and 3 for both).
OK, please let me clarify.
You are looking for complaints? Are you referring to Health Dept complaints or Building Dept complaints? Our Permit data does not include complaints.
Please specify what you are looking for to be sure I am the right dept you are seeking info from.
I apologize, MuckRock had your department in our database as the records custodian for both departments. Who would be the appropriate contact in the Health Department?
What kind of complaints are you looking for?
Please be specific so this email does not have to continue back and forth.
Please close this request. I will file a new one with the Health Dept. itself rather than inconvenience you any further.
Please contact the Health Department for any documentation they may have on a specific address.
You can reach them at:
