The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

This email is in response to your recent request, Request Number: 396-2024 made under the Freedom of Information Act. Section 3(d) of the Freedom of Information Act provides that the five-day response period may be extended for up to five additional working days for a limited number of reasons. Specifically:
Subsection 3(e)(i) states that the response time period may be extended if “the requested records are stored in whole or in part at other locations than the office having charge of the requested records”
Subsection 3(e)(ii) states that the response time period may be extended if “the request requires the collection of a substantial number of specified records”.
Pursuant to Subsections 3(e)(i) and 3(e)(ii) we are notifying you of the Village’s intent to extend the time needed to research your request an additional five days. Your FOIA request will be completed no later than March 18, 2024.
