Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Live Birth Data including constant birth rate, long term, short term and average birth rates for within the district for current and previous 6 years.
Birth to Kindergarten Survival Ratio used for the past 10 years by year.
Projected Kindergarten Enrollment for the past 10 years by year, and supporting data.
Any communications with NYS DOH or County DOH or other data service provider requesting, receiving or inquiring regarding live birth data, birth to kindergarten survival rate or other statistical data used for projecting enrollment.
Copies of all enrollment projections for the past 6 years and source statistical data, including but not limited to live birth data which were used to provide projected enrollment data upon which securities purchasers rely.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

FOIL. Please be advised, the District does not respond to email requests
for FOIL information via drop box or portals. Our Data Privacy policies do
not allow the district to click on links that are suspicious or otherwise
not determined to be legitimate to protect the integrity of school district
data. We also do not respond to FOIL requests without a contact name AND
telephone number for the individual receiving the information, in order to
determine the point of contact receiving such records. Accordingly, this
particular request for information under FOIL is denied. If you would like
to provide this information (*name, address AND telephone number*) to which
we can respond we will reconsider your request. I have attached a copy of
the Board of Education Public Access to School Records Policy.

Thank you for your response to my FOIL request. I understand that the district does not respond to email requests for FOIL information via drop box or portals due to data privacy policies, and I apologize for any inconvenience my initial request may have caused.
Regarding the specific request for "Live Birth Data," I understand that the district does not possess any information on this topic in public records. I appreciate your prompt response and clarification on this matter.
As for the rest of my request, I would like to clarify that I am asking for information that the district should have in the course of planning activities and not asking for new documents or surveys to be completed. In many cases, this data is required for construction and securities issuance purposes in greater detail than is required for statutory requirement, if any, for a school district.
To provide a more specific request for existing documents, I would like to request the following information under the New York Freedom of Information Law:
Projected Kindergarten Enrollment for the past 6 years by year, and supporting data.
Any communications with NYS DOH or County DOH or other data service provider requesting, receiving or inquiring regarding projected enrollment data or other statistical data used for projecting enrollment.

Dear Mr. Parker,
Our response to your additional FOIL request for information is that there
are no “public records” for Projected Kindergarten Enrollment or any
“public records” of any communications with NYS DOH or County DOH or other
data service providers regarding enrollment projections.
This is why I think a personal contact would be helpful. The District does
not have a formal enrollment projection process. We have an annual
“pre-registration” process to determine the number of sections of
Kindergarten (small school- 1 or 2) we need for budgetary purposes. No
reports are generated, or projections are created. Therefore, the
information you are requesting simply just does not exist. The answers I
am giving, while not necessarily confidential, are not fulfilling a request
for “public records”, but more answers regarding procedural matters, and
considered “survey” in nature.
Therefore, we consider this FOIL request to be closed. If you have any
