Subject: New York Freedom of Information Law Request: PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST: Daily numbers of quarantined students and staff (Schalmont Central School District)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Documents showing the daily number of quarantined students and staff at each school site, facility, and department, each day from September 1, 2020, through the date the request is completed.

Such documents may include, but may not be limited to spreadsheets, databases, charts, tables, infographics, slide decks, reports, emails, and other records, electronic or otherwise.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

As discussed and previously shared (via the news links going back to 2020 in which in which case is reported daily), this is the only information we can provide other than the NYS Report Card information filed daily and send to the State (also previously sent).

I consider this FOIL request fulfilled based on the data we kept and the manner in which we shared.
