All emails, memos, memorandums, notes, or other internal communications pertaining to the following non-case-sensitive keywords: Food Not Bombs, the acronym "FNB", clock tower, Keith McHenry, or ORDINANCE NO. 2022-05 ("AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CRUZ AMENDING SANTA CRUZ MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 10.65 - PUBLIC GATHERING AND EXPRESSION EVENTS") from January 1, 2022 to the date that this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

☒ Public Interest Exemption • Gov’t Code § 6255 • After careful consideration, based on the facts of the particular case and/or the nature of the records requested, we have determined that the public interest in nondisclosure of internal correspondence which shows the deliberative process and negotiation strategy of city staff clearly outweighs the public interest served in disclosure of the record(s), in order to prevent a chilling on frank discussions of legal or policy matters. See Times Mirror Co. v. Superior Court, 53 Cal. 3d 1325, 1342 (1991).

Hello, thank you very much for these responses! There appears to be an issue though:

For various PDFs in the portal, many of them that start with "Emails -", the downloaded PDFs are just one page advertising adobe reader. For example, the file "Emails - Martine Watkins.pdf" does not appear to have any contents, just an ad. Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know, or please reupload the documents if something went wrong during the upload process. Thank you!
