From: Marin County District Attorney

Dear Mr. Powelson,

Thank you for the email. However, I am now a bit unclear on what you are requesting. I had interpreted your request as a request for all email communications between Lori Frugoli and the persons identified in list 1 containing the words in list 2.

List 1:

* Supervisor Kate Sear
* Supervisor Stephan Moulton Peters
* Supervisor Katie Rice
* Supervisor Damon Connolly
* Supervisor Dennis Rodoni
* Supervisor Judy Arnold
* Harbormaster Curtis Havel of the Richardson Bay Regional Agency
* Sausalito Police Chief John Rohrbacher
* Mayor of Sausalito Jill Hoffman
* Novato Police Chief Matt McCaffrey
* San Rafael Mayor Kate Colins
* Novato Mayor Pat Eklund
* Andrew Hening
* Sheriff Deputy Daniel White
* San Rafael Chief of Police Diane Bishop
* San Rafael Chief of Police David Spiller

List 2:

* "lodging"
* "Encampment"
* "Homeless"
* "unhoused"
* "shelterless"
* "unsheltered"
* "Martin vs Boise"
* "Boise"
* "camp"
* "campsite"
* "live aboard"
* "liveaboard"
* "mariner"
* "anchor out"
* 8.10.090 (D)(1) San Rafael Municipal Code
* 19.10.060 (4) San Rafael Municipal Code
* 647(e) of the Penal Code

Based on that assumption, I had objected to your request as overly broad as it failed to identify a relevant time period. You have now provided a relevant time period but you also stated that you would like to “strike from the request the municipal homeless ordinances, and only memos pertaining to PC 647(e) and "Martin Vs Boise" from January 1st, 2018 to to May 17th 2021s.” As I had not read your request as a request for memos, I am now concerned that I had not understood what you are requesting. So, would you please either identify more specifically what it is you are requesting or let me know a few times that we could discuss on the phone?
Thanks,

Sarah
