Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide all text messages sent to or from either Sam Dodge or Mary Ellen Carroll between Dec 15, 2021 and Feb 25, 2022 (inclusive) including a search of personal cell phones under City of San Jose vs Superior Court (2017). Include group messages.
Please provide the results on a rolling basis (SFAC 67.25(d)) and in a searchable format.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Please note, with regard to your request, we are invoking an extension to allow the Department of Emergency Management to consult with other City departments. (S.F. Admin. Code § 67.25(b); Govt. Code § 6253(c) (authorizing an extension of up to 14 calendar days until March 24, 2022).)
Please also note that your original request was not submitted properly to our department. The form you completed and submmitted is only reserved for requesting 911 related and Computer Aided Dispatch type calls. Please do not fill out the 911 dispatch PRA forms for any request you may have in the future similar to the one our office.
