Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Documents showing the cumulative number of positive COVID-19 cases among students and staff at each RUSD school site, facility and department, from Sept. 18, 2021 through the date that this request is fulfilled.
Such documents may include, but may not be limited to: spreadsheets, databases, charts, tables, infographics, slide decks, reports, emails and other records, electronic or otherwise.
(Please note: RUSD has already fulfilled my earlier request for positive cases from Aug. 9 through Sept. 17. Thank you.)
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

If possible, I would like to amend my original request to include a specific end date in the date range, by replacing "through the date that this request is fulfilled" with "through Jan. 7, 2022," as follows:
"Documents showing the cumulative number of positive COVID-19 cases among students and staff at each RUSD school site, facility and department, from Sept. 18, 2021 through Jan. 7, 2022."
This way, perhaps, the process of gathering and delivering the records can be expedited.
If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer.
