Mr. Nash,
I write to communicate that staff has assessed the documentation requested,
and a large portion is not in digital format; therefore, there will be a
fee incurred to process this request of an estimated $295.92.

Please let me know if you agree to pay the fee, and staff will move forward
with your request.

This email, if you move forward with the request, serves also to invoke our
right to a 7-working day extension. The documents to be scanned are
extensive, and given the holiday season, we will need the additional time.
We would, therefore, have the records to you no later than COB January 8,
2018.

You are, of course, welcome to visit our Collections and view any of the
materials free of charge.

Another option is for me to send you only the digital records; this would
not incur a fee and could be done by the end of the week.

I have attached a records list to this email which I thought might be
helpful in determining whether or not you'd like staff to scan the hard
copy files.

Thank you,
Stephanie Williams

Hi Ms. Williams,

I just chatted with Ellen Chapman a bit about this request -- it sounds like the digital records would make sense for now. Having this list of items/documents will help people get a sense of what else is there, and that's also very appreciated.

If possible, excluding any photos of human remains would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mr. Nash, attached are the digital files of the images from 44HE0778 and 2 pdf documents. Unfortunately, the 204 digital file treatment records will have to be sent during the first week of January. Although they are digital files, they are organized in such a way that uploading them easily and quickly now by the end of the day is not possible. I will get them to you by COB January 8, 2019 but hopefully the first week of January at the latest. So sorry for the delay. Thank you.
