RE: Request for information dated April 29, 2014, on employee salaries:

We are in receipt of your e-mailed request for information dated and received on April 29, 2014. Specifically, you requested the following:

"Contracts for the ten (10) employees with the highest salaries"

In response to your request, please note that the ten highest employees of the Judiciary are judges, who do not have "contracts." Therefore, we have no documents responsive to your request.

While "contracts" are not available, all salary information for public employees (including those in the Judiciary) is available on the Governor's transparency portal: http://www.transparency.ri.gov/payroll/

After reviewing that listing, should you like to inquire as to whether there is a contract for a particular employee, we would be happy to look through our files to see if we have any further documents responsive to your request.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at cberke@courts.ri.gov<mailto:cberke@courts.ri.gov> or (401) 222-8631.

Very truly yours,

Craig N. Berke
