Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Nevada Athletics Director Stephanie Rempe's hiring contract when she was hired in 2022

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

To whom it may concern,

This is an appeal due to a constructive denial and lack of acknowledgment from The Office of Administration and Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno for public records request.

The original request was submitted on Oct. 17, 2022 with the subject line “Stephanie Rempe Contract” and followed up Oct. 24, 2022 and have since not received any acknowledgment, responses or responsive documents for this request.

In accordance with the Nevada Public Records Act, N.R.S. 239.0107 a governmental entity must respond “[n]ot later than the end of the fifth business day after the date on which the person who has legal custody or control of a public book or record of a governmental entity receives a written or oral request from a person to inspect, copy or receive a copy of the public book or record.”

In accordance with the above statement from N.R.S. 239.0107, I should have received a response by Oct. 24–which I have not.

Please urge the Office of Administration and Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno to comply with my request and my request made under the Nevada Public Records Act.
