Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide all documents reflecting any attempts to comply, steps taken to comply, or progress made in complying with the terms and conditions of the April 12, 2019 settlement agreement between the City of Rancho Mirage on the one hand, and Veronica Juarez, Erik Munoz, Israel Gonzalez Paz, and Aura Marina Lopez on the other hand. This includes Rancho Mirage's attempted compliance with the paragraph entitled “Creation of Replacement Housing.”
This request includes, but is not limited to Documents reflecting Rancho Mirage’s actions in issuing building permits to commence construction of 126 affordable family dwelling units for moderate, low income and very low income families.”
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Hello,
Thank you for these handful of documents. I have reviewed the March 18, 2021 City Council Staff report. I note that there are references to steps taken by The City, but no documents were produced reflecting those steps were taken. Please produce all of the documents reflecting the Staff Report's statements that:
1. the City attempted to attract the private sector in development of affordable housing in the City
2. the private sector was not interested in developing affordable housing in the City
3. the City attempted to consolidate enough parcels of land within the City to accommodate an affordable family housing site
4. the City zoned "large parts of the City (such as Section 19) for the development of multi-family housing."
5. the City is using the 20% Set Aside Fund to "maintain, operate and manage its four age-restricted affordable housing complexes"
6. the City "has been very proactive with respect to constructing affordable housing"
7. the City has provided "Bonus Density incentives" to construct affordable housing
8. the City has waived "Development Impact Fees, Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF) and the City Business License Tax for new development"
9. any policy or plan concerning the referenced "Former Rancho Palms Mobilehome Park Replacement Housing Plan" as referenced in the Staff Report
10. the Monterey Village Affordable Housing Project "has become less feasible or likely that this project as originally anticipated will be built."
11. the City solicited private parties to purchase and consolidate small vacant lots in the Thunder Road area
12. the City "began to work on an update to its Highway 111 Specific Plan"
13. staff "has determined that the location of the former Rancho Palms Mobilehome Park...is beneficial for the construction and development of an affordable family housing community..."
I again request the City do a reasonable and diligent search, and produce all of the requested documents. I note that the following were not produced, and I request the immediate production of those documents:
1. any requests for bids for construction of affordable housing to replace the 126 destroyed units
2. All bids on construction of affordable housing to replace the 126 destroyed units
3. the building permit which was issued to construct affordable housing at the Rancho Palms Mobile Home Park site to replace the 126 destroyed units
4. Communications between the City and Coachella Valley Housing Coalition from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
5. Communications between the City and Habitat for Humanity from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
6. Communications between the City and Palm Desert Development from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
