From: North Carolina Department Of Transportation

Good morning,

The N.C. Department of Transportation has no involvement with data or imagery related to license plate camera systems. State law stipulates that NCDOT may enter into agreements with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation for the placement and use of automatic license plate reader systems within land or right of way owned by NCDOT. Thus, our agency does not contract with the license plate reader companies and we are closing this request and marking it complete.

Hope that helps.
