In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Shawn - I have already replied to a previous request from you, exactly like this one. Please let me know if you need anything further.

Carrie -

Thank you for getting back to me. This is a request for documents under the Florida public records statute, where my previous emails were media requests for information.

Please confirm that your agency is processing this request in keeping with the Florida public records law, or let me know if I should submit this request to another individual within PCSO.

Best,
Shawn Musgrave

Shawn – As the PIO, I fulfill media inquiries and requests. Because you are asking for someone else in our agency to fulfill this as a public records request, I ask that you sent it to recordsrequest@polksheriff.org<mailto:recordsrequest@polksheriff.org> – they will likely charge a fee for searching email databases back to 2010, and a search for the other documents you requested.

For your convenience we have records request forms on our website that you can fill out in advance. They can be found here: http://www.polksheriff.org/InsidePCSO/OBA/BusinessServices/rms/Pages/CriminalHistory.aspx

Thank you,

Carrie
