Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

I would like a record of all requests by developers to pay in-lieu fees instead of providing below-market-rate units, the amount of in-lieu fee requests approved by the city during this period, and the total number of in-lieu fees paid for the last five years.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Anthony,
I am writing in response to your requests for documents under the California Public Records Act (Govt. Code § 6250 et seq.) received by the City on 12/7/2017.
Pursuant to Government Code section 6253(c), the City requires an extension of time to respond to your requests.  The requested records require searching for, collecting and appropriately examining a voluminous amount of separate and distinct records from multiple City departments.
The City will provide an initial determination regarding your request by 12/29/2017

The City has reviewed its files and has located responsive records to your request.  Please log in to the Records Center at the following LINK to retrieve the appropriate response. Additionally, there were only 3 projects approved to pay housing in lieu fees. They were 2080 Channing Ave (Edgewood Plaza), 405 Curtner Ave and 567 Maybell Ave (fees for 567 Maybell have yet to be determined and/or paid).
