Mr. Mike Spies:

I am in receipt of your letter pertaining to the aforementioned open records request. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to track such motions. 51 O.S. 24A.18 provides that the Open Records Act was not intended to impose any additional recordkeeping requirements on public bodies. In addition, such motions would undoubtedly be kept in our litigation files and 51 O.S. 24A.12 provides that the contents of such files are not subject to the Open Records Act.

Sincerely,

Craig Ladd
District Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial District
