A message was sent to you regarding record request #23-62:

MuckRock News

Hello Ms. Terse,

This email is in response to your records request dated July 11, 2023, and assigned the tracking number of 23-62, you requested the following:

All current “Brady lists” and “Giglio lists” (per Brady v. Maryland/Giglio v. United States) maintained by your office.

When our office learns about information that would require us to send out a Brady letter, or a potential impeachment disclosure (PID), for a potential witness, we make a note of it in our electronic case management system, JustWare. When a case is built involving that witness, a reminder pops up so staff knows they must send out a Brady/PID letter. We do not have a separately maintained actual Brady/PID or Giglio list or spread sheet of names.

The current witness, and there is currently just the one, is Omak Police Officer Terry Shrable. It is important to note that a former prosecutor viewed the materials as inadmissible potential impeachment materials, rather than Brady materials.

I believe this fulfills your request and will consider it closed as of today’s date. If you believe our response is incomplete, we have misunderstood your request, or you have questions, please contact me immediately. We can discuss any errors you believe were made in our response. I am confident I can address any concern you may have.

Best regards,

Terri Hargraves

Legal Assistant

Okanogan County Prosecutor’s Office
