Vision Pros x driving (Ohio State Highway Patrol)

Dear Caroline Haskins:
Thank you for your interest in obtaining public records from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.  Your request has been received and is being processed in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Chapter 149.  Your request was received in this office on 2/5/2024 and given the reference number R013623-020524 for tracking purposes. Records Requested: To Whom It May Concern:

There have been at least two videos that show people using the self-driving function on their Teslas while wearing Apple Vision Pros, released February 2.

It's highly probable that there have been multiple incidents of people driving or using a self-driving car while wearing Vision Pros. I am seeking documents that would capture any incidents of people getting pulled over, given citations, or arrested for doing this.

Therefore, pursuant to Ohio Open Records Law I hereby request the following records:

* Any CAD reports, incident reports, traffic citations/summonses, warning tickets, field interview cards, or any other documents produced since February 2, 2024 and the time that this request is processed that mention the Apple "Vision Pro" or refer to the Vision Pro.

This FOI request is being filed in pursuit of a time-sensitive news story. Therefore, I ask that my request is expedited.

Also, I am a member of the news media as a reporter, and the requested documents are in the public interest and not being made for commercial purposes. Therefore, I ask that all fees are waived in the processing of my request.
