Dear Ms. Premack,
We received your request regarding records between the City of North Las
Vegas and Amazon or any other subsidiaries regarding the Amazon fulfillment
centers. Please follow the instructions below on submitting requests. We
do not accept requests via email or fax.
In an effort to improve efficiency and better track all Public Record Act
(PRA) requests the City of North Las Vegas updated the online form used to
submit requests. Specifically, the new online form now collects necessary
information from requesters for Fire Department records, as well as for
records held in other departments. The form allows for easy tracking of
requests and was developed to reduce the time to complete requests.
Therefore, this office requests that users refrain from sending in PRA
requests using email and attaching files. Please note that the
cityclerk@cityofnorthlasvegas.com email should be used for only two
purposes: to receive comments about upcoming City public meetings and to
work with requesters once a request has been officially submitted via the
online form. Use of the email instead of using the form is not as efficient
and actually makes processing requests slower and less easy to track.
Similarly, the fax line should not be used for submitting requests, but can
be used to provide additional information once a request has been
officially submitted via the online form.
