Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Public reports show that the robotic delivery company Starship is operating at your university: https://www.starship.xyz/starship-food-delivery-app/. A Cache of documents I previously obtained resulted in the following article: https://www.404media.co/student-should-have-a-healthy-looking-bmi-how-universities-bend-over-backwards-to-accommodate-starship-food-delivery-robots/
In that article, UNC Charlotte said it does not have a contract directly with Starship so cannot comment. Emails I previously obtained show that UNC Charlotte works closely with Starship on all public discussion about the program.
Therefore, I request the following records:
- Processing notes for public records request #23-173
- Communications mentioning "Jason Koebler" or "404 Media," "starship" and any attachments/images/related documents. Please search between January 10, 2024 and the time this request is processed.
