Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

Any and all records relating to the investigation of and arrest of call service operator Paul Abrams by the New York City Police Department, between the years of 1976 - 1980.

Link to New York Senate Select Committee on Crime Hearing in 1982. Details how detective Dale Smith, who worked as an investigator for the New York Senate Select Committee on Crime, helped the New York City Police Department in their arrest of juvenile call service operator Dale Smith between 1977-1978. (Pages 44 - 46):

Paul Abrams would later plead guilty, and receive probation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
