Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL systemwide, were checked out
2. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL in the Bronx, were checked out
3. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL in Brooklyn, were checked out
4. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL in Manhattan, were checked out
5. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL in Queens, were checked out
6. The number of times that each of the 50 most popular books, from the NYPL in Staten Island, were checked out
The NYPL published the ranking of these books in this blog post: https://www.nypl.org/blog/2019/12/18/nypl-top-checkouts-2019
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
