Attorney grievance complaints sent in 2022 or 2023 to the email addresses AD1-AGC-newcomplaints@nycourts.gov, ad2-grv2@nycourts.gov, ad2-grv9@nycourts.gov, and ad2-grv10@nycourts.gov
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Please note, Public Officers Law § 87(2)(a) precludes access to records or portions thereof that are “specifically exempted from disclosure by state or federal statute.” Judiciary Law section 90(10) provides in relevant part:
Any statute or rule to the contrary notwithstanding, all papers, records and documents upon the application or examination of any person for admission as an attorney and counsellor at law and upon any complaint, inquiry, investigation or proceeding relating to the conduct or discipline of an attorney or attorneys, shall be sealed and be deemed private and confidential.
Therefore, your request is denied.
Pursuant to Public Officers Law § 89(4)(a), you have thirty (30) days to take a written appeal of this determination. You may appeal by writing:
