Mr. Welsh,

Attached please find the response of the Office of the Governor to your OPRA Request email dated November 6, 2023.

From: Ben Welsh

Before submitting an appeal, I ask informally that you reconsider and grant my request. My request is not overly broad as defined by Gannett N.J. Partners, LP v. Cnty. of Middlesex, 379 N.J. Super. 205, 212 (App. Div. 2005); MAG Entm’t, LLC v. Div. of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J. Super. 534, 549 (App. Div. 2005); Bent v. Twp. of Stafford Police Dep’t, 381 N.J. Super. 30, 36-37 (App. Div. 2005); Spectraserv, Inc. v. Middlesex Cty. Utils. Auth., 416 N.J. Super. 565, 578 (App. Div. 2010); N.J. Builders Ass’n v. N.J. Council on Affordable Hous., 390 N.J. Super. 166, 178-79 (App. Div. 2007). I requested specific documents, described them in detail and provided a specific date the records were created.

In the interest of reasonable cooperation, I would like to know if there is a reason your office is reluctant to fulfill this legitimate request. We asked for these communications because we want to see how the public is interacting with the governor in a newly installed communication system paid for by the taxpayers of New Jersey. We are happy to discuss this request and, in principal, are always willing to consider ways we can narrow the scope.

Okay. Thank you for your response. How about the first 15 minutes of responses logged by the system? Could you provide that?
