From: Gabrielle Pepin

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New Hampshire Right to Know Law, I hereby request the following records:

Historical licensing data for all licensed child care providers (active and closed) that were open anytime from 1/1/19-present:
• Provider name or ID
• Provider address
• Latest license issue date and expiration date
• First license issue date
• Any additional provider data that your agency collects

If electronic records from before 1/1/19 are available, I’d be happy to collect them as well.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Gabrielle Pepin

Good afternoon Gabrielle. I am in receipt of your Right to Know request pursuant to which you are seeking information regarding licensed child care providers. Today I spoke with the Unit Chief for the Child Care Licensing Unit. She is unsure at this point if she can run a query that will capture all of the information that you have requested. It is possible that she may need the assistance of the Department of Information Technology to access some of the information you would like. For this reason, we do not know at this point how long it will take to provide the requested information. I should have a better sense of that by the end of the week. On or before the end of the day on Friday August 18, 2023 I will reach out to you with an update.

Good afternoon Gabrielle. I am responding to your Right to Know request relative to licensed child care programs in New Hampshire.

I've attached a list of closed programs since 2019. The list of programs currently operating is also attached with the information requested. Please note that we do not have the first license issue date for all programs. Some have been licensed for a long time and their initial license was issued prior to the implementation of the current database utilized by the Child Care Licensing Unit.

Available public information can be found as follows:

Inspection information:
https://forms.nh.gov/licenseverification/Search.aspx?facility=

Choose Child Care under Profession. The programs listed online are all programs currently licensed, and includes visit history for the previous 3 years.

Some inspections from July 2023 on are on the website below, as we are transitioning to a new database.
