Which way is best for you to communicate, via email or by phone?
Also, it appears that this request will hit different units and will be more of a custom search. The cost for custom searches is $50 per hour.
After we clarify your search, I will email you an estimate to process you request.

Hello Sergeant White,

Thanks for your reply, and I apologize for the delay in my response. Life got pretty hectic, but I'm back!

> Which way is best for you to communicate, via email or by phone?

I prefer to communicate by email, and the address you used for your note works well for me.

> Also, it appears that this request will hit different units and will be more of a custom search...

Can you advise me regarding the number of possible units that the search could cover?

> After we clarify your search...

Just want to make sure you know that I'm not looking for the number of times social media monitoring was used or details of that nature.

If you have any questions for me that can help you better understand what I'm asking, please let me know, and I'll be happy to provide further information.

Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,
Chris

Good afternoon Chris,
I apologize for the delay in my response.
We have run into an issue with the pulling of emails corespondents between the Sheriff’s Office and any social media monitoring company.
We have been in contact with Social Archive and can pull the correspondence email for that company.
Can you provide a list of other social media archive companies that you are requesting correspondence from? To preform an accurate email pull required keywords in the search and “social”, “media”, and “archive” is not specific enough to make it a reasonable search.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Be safe,

Subject: RE: Oregon Public Records Law Request: Social Media Monitoring Software (Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, OR)
Good morning Chris,
Looks like your previous emails had been caught in our spam file.
As to your request, I am looking to our IT unit to pull correspondence in regards to your request.
We are currently working on both the acquisition of monitoring software and if there is need for policy.
Once I have all of the documents I will send you an estimate. After you agree to the fees involved, I can release the documents after payment has been received. I will send you instructions in the email with the quote estimate.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions,

Sergeant Brandon White

Sincerely,
Chris
