Jail Records/Booking Photos: The records contain booking photos and/or other jail records. Disclosure of information is statutorily prohibited and would violate the subject’s right to privacy.

Social Security Numbers and Tax Identification Numbers (RCW 42.56.230(5); see also RCW 9.35.005). Explanation: Disclosure would violate an individual’s right to privacy, and could be used for identity theft, fraud or other criminal activity. SSNs of agency employees, volunteers, and their dependents are also specifically exempt. (RCW 42.56.250(3)).
WACIC Information: Record contains information directly obtained from the Washington Crime Information Center (WACIC) system, which is a centralized state computerized index of criminal justice information associated with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) available to Federal, state, and local law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies for law enforcement purposes. Information obtained from WACIC/NCIC is restricted to law enforcement use pursuant to federal law. It may not be disseminated except to criminal justice agencies. It is exempt from disclosure under RCW 42.56.070 and 28 USC § 534, see also 28 CFR 20.38, and RCW 43.43.710. Explanation: Dissemination is statutorily prohibited.
Medical Care and Mental Health Care Records (RCW 70.02.020(1) and/or RCW Chapt. 71.05, RCW 42.56.360(2)). Explanation: Record contains medical and/or mental health care provider records exempt from disclosure to third parties without the patient’s written authorization, a court order, or in connection with certain discovery requests.

Explanation: Disclosure would violate an individual’s right to privacy, and could be used for identity theft, fraud or other criminal activity.

For IIS 12-0374:
