The name/variant of the ransomware that was used against the city in January of 2020.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Your inquiry was forwarded to the City's Management Information Systems Department, which provided the following response: "The ransomware was identified as a Ryuk variant."
To the extent that your request has been denied, this determination is subject to review by mandamus under Wis. Stat. ยง 19.37(1), or upon application to the Attorney General or District Attorney. Thank you.
