Police data collection request (2016-2017)

Good morning,
The City of St. Louis Park is in receipt of the request you submitted via email on July 10, 2023. City staff will now begin the process of determining if we have data that is responsive to the request and if the data is public. You can expect to receive a response within 10 working days of when your request was received (by July 24, 2023).

Data requested:

1. The total number of use of force incidents, separated by year, from 2016-2017 (for example, information that specifies the number of use of force incidents in 2016, use of force incidents in 2017, etc.)
2. The total number of use of force incidents, separated by year and type of force used, from 2016-2017 (for example, information that specifies the number of taser incidents in 2016, taser incidents in 2017, etc.)

Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:
