Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
We are looking for all documents related to the Moorpark contract with Filemaker to purchase Filemaker permitting software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Responsive to your Public Records Request submitted by e-mail to Sean Corrigan, City Engineer/Public Works Director, on August 03, 2017, 1:56 AM, which he submitted to the City Clerk’s Division on Monday, 8/7/2017, below is the located responsive record/information for:
“all documents related to the Moorpark contract with Filemaker to purchase Filemaker permitting software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.”
The City of Moorpark does not have a contract with Filemaker and there is no maintenance agreement.
The Finance Department produced the below Pentamation report which shows 2 checks/invoices for purchase of Filemaker Pro from Compuwave.
Justine, please reply to confirm receipt of the responsive record/information produced above in this email.
If you wish to obtain a copy of the checks/invoices noted above, please relay so we may request these records be retrieved from our off-site storage facility as these records are not maintained on-site. It typically takes 4-7 business days to retrieve records from off-site storage.

Good afternoon Justine Desmond,
Yes, Building and Safety is currently using Filemaker software; however, the City purchased Tyler Technologies Energov Product Suite, and we will be transitioning to use of Energov for various permitting functions, including but not limited to building permits and encroachment permits this calendar year.
