Travel Expense Reports for Steve Bullock

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Montana's Constitution, Article II, § 9, I hereby request the following records:

All travel expense records for Steve Bullock, of the Office of the Governor, for the week beginning April 28, 2014. This includes any copies of receipts or public credit card statements filed as part of the report, with sensitive data removed.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Mr. Huff,

I respectfully request that your office rescind the rejection of my request for Gov. Bullock's travel receipts.

I am a citizen of the State of Montana currently residing in Gallatin County.

As you can see here, I am listed as a current staff member at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a Montana newspaper. http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/staff/

The Gallatin County Elections Dept. can also attest to my being a registered voter (406) 582-3060.

I apologize for any inconvenience. Future requests to the Governors' office will clearly indicate my status as a citizen of the Treasure State.
