I respectfully appeal the fees assessed for this records request. My research indicates that most law enforcement agencies nationwide have fulfilled similar requests without charging fees. This project is undertaken in the public interest, with a non-profit purpose. Waiving the fees associated with this request would align with the core principles of the Freedom of Information Act, promoting transparency and public understanding of government operations.
