I would like these records in the electronic format that they are stored in, transmitted via email or other digital method; please refrain from sending paper copies of the records.

Rather than provide all responsive records at once, I ask that you provide copies of records on a rolling basis, as they become available.

If you determine that any of the information qualifies for an exemption from disclosure, I ask you to note whether the exemption is discretionary, and if so whether it is necessary in this case to exercise your discretion to withhold the information. Hello again, what is the status of this now overdue records request?

Hello, thanks for the update. But this request is for electronic copies of electronic communications. Can you please confirm your understanding of this?

And what is the cost estimate, if any, for this request?

Hello again. I'm hopeful that we can resolve this matter without seeking a judicial remedy through the courts, which Insider has done with other agencies in Alabama successfully before and is prepared to do again. I can only assume that your agency would rather avoid the cost and time associated with that resolution.

To get us closer to that, can you confirm your understanding that this request seeks copies of electronic records, as well as a cost estimate, if any, to provide them?
