Re: Request for Records

Dear Ms. Lipton:

Please accept my apology for the delayed response to your request for records. It was confused with another request and was inadvertently overlooked.

On Oct. 15, 2018, our office received your request records regarding offender employment and payment. It might take up to three weeks to provide records responsive to your request.

Ms. Lipton,

The below referenced request was forwarded to me for response. Attached are the procedures regarding offender employment responsive to #1. The records could not be uploaded to your link as it has expired. Our research department is working on #2 and should be able to pull a report regarding statistics of employed offenders in the institutions. This will be provided when completed and I estimate completion by the end of next week. For #3, the Department does not track post incarceration employment except for offenders on parole who self report as part of the supervision. This information should be in the report the research department is currently working on for #2.

Sincerely,
