Dear Ms. Haynes,

Thank you for your timely response. My request was for data to the present. Your response included excel data as supplied to the state only until 5/31/22, one year ago. Has MVPD stopped reporting to the State of California? If not, please supply this data table covering 6/1/22 to the most recent submission to the State of California.

Best Regards,

Frank Shinneman

Mr. Shinneman,

On April 13, 2023 Mill Valley Police Department responded to your query dated April 12, 2023. The response looks to not have populated in this communication thread and we include our response again for clarification. Thank you for the opportunity to do so.

The data reflected on our public webpage titled “RIPA Data” is up-to-date and current and contains RIPA data through March 2023. It can be found again for your convenience at https://www.cityofmillvalley.org/906/RIPA-Data. Thank you for alerting us to a discrepancy in the date previously shown for this data collection. We have made the necessary correction.

Mill Valley Police Department reports data to the California Department of Justice as mandated pursuant to AB 953 and which fulfills our annual reporting requirements. We have supplied, as noted in our previous response, data we have available and included subsequent links to additional RIPA material for transparency purposes.

Additionally, the City of Mill Valley's data was included in the Racial and Identity Profiling Advisory Report 2023 which can be found at https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/media/ripa-board-report-2023.pdf

Respectfully,

Lindsay Haynes
