2.) All currently active and expired contracts between the Village of Middleport and Seaman Norris LLP between the following time period: 01/01/2010 through 12/26/2023

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hi Ms. VanBuren,

I am in receipt of the files you sent. However, I only see invoices for two years: 2015 & 2021. Also attached was a contract for 6-1-2023 thru 5-31-2024.

My FOIL request was for all invoices received from Seaman Norris LLP to the Village of Middleport between the following time period: 01/01/2010 through 12/26/2023 and all currently active and expired contracts between the Village of Middleport and Seaman Norris LLP between the following time period: 01/01/2010 through 12/26/2023.

I have two questions:

1.) Can you confirm that you do not possess Seaman Norris LLP invoices for the following years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023. If you do not possess the invoices for those years, can you certify that your office does not maintain the records?

2.) Can you confirm you only attached the one contract (6-1-2023 thru 5-31-2024 Seaman Norris). If so, can you certify that your office does not maintain the other years contracts I requested.

Good morning,

In response to your first question, I checked the zip file that I sent and all the years from 2010 thru 2023 appear so that is strange that you are not receiving it the same way. I will attach each year separately to this email so that there are no issues.

Secondly, the contract that I sent you for Seaman Norris LLP was the only contract the Village has had with the firm.

I hope this clarifies any confusion.
