To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

This is a request for all documents, reports, incident logs, photographs, autopsy reports or a "case file" related to the death of a (presumably) unidentified decedent who committed suicide at a business located in the 3300 block of Highway 59 in Merced County in November of 2014.

This incident was profiled in two articles in the Merced Sun-Star newspaper at the time, both with pleas for public assistance in identifying the individual.

Please redact information that might run afoul of the California Public Records Act, while at the same releasing those documents that are applicable to it.

If this person is still unidentified, I am curious as to why this person hasn't yet been listed in the NamUs datababase.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Robert Delaware
