To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

I request work order documents for the sign made for the South Yarmouth State Police Barracks, that is described as follows: 4'x3' sign that reads TEAMWORK, DO YOUR JOB, BE SAFE which also includes the state police patch which was created by DOT for MSP between April 2016 to February 2016.
I request emails between Sign Shop Supervisor Andrea Lomas, (Lomas, Andrea (DOT) {andrea.lomas@dot.state.ma.us]) and Kevin Buckley or any unnamed individual who ordered the sign. I further request the work order for same.
Ret Major Anthony Thomas ordered Charles Atchinson to take this sign down after I stated it was retaliatory and those exact words appeared in my sexual harassment complaint against Kevin Buckley.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Daralyn Heywood

Dear Appeals Officer,
I have been making this request to the Massachusetts State Police Attorney since 2016.
I previously took a complaint at Suffolk Civil Superior because Brunelli did not acknowledge my request, after agreement with Mr Brunelli, I dropped the complaint and he in return was to give me the requested documents. He did not.

I started this process several times as Brunelli failed to respond.
I will appeal this current request. I made this particular request on March 37, 2022 to Attorney Dan Brunelli thru the service, MuckRock. Brunelli has previously responded thru this service and he is familiar with the process. Brunelli refused to acknowledge this request dated March 7, 2022. I received no answer and made the subsequent requests:

Today is Dec 5, 2022. I have been asking for public records requests since 2016. asked for emails and work orders. Brunelli did not say there were no emails between Atchinson and Buckley. There is a clear indication Atchinson and sign shop manager Andrea Lomas text each other with "language" Atchinson did not wish to reveal because all the other emails regarding any sign went to the entire Barracks and every trooper. It is ridiculous this evidence has been kept from me for six years. Brunelli sent me emails but not the work orders. I have included a picture of the 4x33 sign that is directly related to my sexual harassment complaint which Lt Buckley expected me to. listen to his talk about his flaccid or erect penis, who he put it in ,beside his wife, and whether or not he could "finish." Gross. When I politely told him many times I didn't want to hear about his sex life or penis, he retaliated against me with many ridiculous issues and emails. One email insinuated I was the "weakest link" and needed to "DO MY JOB" . This sign was hung in the stairwell on my first day back from days off. I listened to all his sex talk and punishing me and witnesses, he was removed and Lt Achinson took over as station commander. Buckley was in the barracks for ours when I was not there. Atchinson told me every morning how upset he was that he had to drive 70 miles each way and how inconvenient it was for him, He signed his emails, Be Safe. He ordered this sign. I have the email proof and have been asking for the work order for years. This is my appeal. I emailed other photos because this site only allows 3 pictures.
Thank you,
