Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any writings regarding the provision of Debit Release Cards to formerly incarcerated people during fiscal 2019, 2020 and 2021. This includes records of the specific cards provided and the value of each card.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

The purpose of this email is to narrow my request for Debit Release Card records to any summaries which contain the date of issue and amount. Redaction of all individual identification information is assumed. The key information sought is the total number of cards issued and the total dollar value of those cards for any available accounting periods, with priority for the most recent periods.
