The current financial budget for expenditures towards vehicle purchases and repairs
Policy and Procedures to have vehicles purchased
Policy and Procedures for vehicle maintenance & repairs
Any vehicle purchases made between January 1st, 2021 -October 4th 2022 including the make year and model of the vehicle
Any vehicle repair Invoices for January 1st, 2021 -October 4th 2022
Any vehicle repair logs for January 1st ,2021-October 4th 2022
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

In order to ensure an accurate and timely response to your request, please respond to the following questions seeking clarification. The CAO may be unable to respond to your request until your response is received.
* Your request appears to be for all vehicles purchased by the City, however based upon the link you provided, it appears you are focused on vehicles associated with the City's Public Works Bureaus. Can you please clarify the scope of your request?
Additionally, the CAO will likely only be able to provide a limited amount of information related to the amount budgeted for vehicle purchases. The majority of your request relating to policy and procedures, vehicle purchases, invoices and repair logs will need to be provided by other City Departments including General Services, Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, Port of Los Angeles, Los Angeles World Airports and the Department of Water and Power depending upon if you are asking for citywide information or only for Public Works.
Your request will be put on pause pending receipt of a response to our request for additional information.

LAPD: Please submit a new request in the Public Records Request portal and then under the Department field, select "Los Angeles Police Department". This will route your request to their CPRA unit.
