From: Annette Morasch

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

The City of Los Angeles, and its Department of Building and Safety, entered into a settlement agreement with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, wherein the City would pay AHF approximately $100,000 and AHF would dismiss its cross-complaint against DBS in the case Antisdel et al v. AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Case No. 21STCV04049. City Attorney Ben Chapman ended up being the City Attorney handling the case after the retirement of Eskel Solomon, Esq.

I request an unredacted copy of the settlement agreement as it is in the matter of public interest why the City paid a "nonprofit" with a broken elevator $100,000 to dismiss a complaint.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Annette Morasch
