Pursuant to the state public and open records law, I am requesting the following records from your police department.

•defendant gender, race, and DOB
•vehicle year, color, make, model, style, and state in which it is registered
•date of incident, time of incident, location of incident and mile post or other geographic location information.

To be clear, this request is for all data from traffic stops and pedestrian stops considered to be public record. This includes, but is not limited to the above list of data types if that information is collected. If the data is not collected, please let us know. If the data is collected but is not considered public record, then please cite the exemption under the law; we will happily accept partial fulfillment of this request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
