Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting all information available about the arrest of Bryan Whitney on September 29th, 2023. Please send all 911 calls, police reports, statements, mugshots, radio communications, complete footage from body cameras, dash cameras, jail cameras, booking cameras, and all emails with keyword Bryan, or Whitney from the time of his arrest until this request is fulfilled.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

In response to your sunshine request. Mr Whitney was not held at our facility. He was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and then transported to this building(which is the Schuyler County Courthouse) but never entered the Sheriff's Office. He was processed in the highway patrol room. The staff here did not have any interaction with Whitney therefore there is no body camera footage. There was security camera footage, but that video footage was sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and has long since been overwritten on the DVR. I will state again....We were not the arresting agency and Whitney never entered the Sheriff's Office nor did any employee of the Sheriff's Office interact with Whitney. We have nothing to give you.

I have received another request today(2-01-2024) for information that is dated 1/19/2024. My response is the same as the last one.
