With regard to the request for public records set forth below, please be advised that, due to multiple issues with requests previously placed electronically through Muckrock News, including the inability or unwillingness of Muckrock News to provide verifiable contact information or identification, the City of Knoxville has elected not to respond to such requests. Any individualized request for public information may be made directly to the Director of Communications, 400 Main Street Room 654A, Knoxville, TN 37902 or by email at communications@knoxvilletn.gov<mailto:communications@knoxvilletn.gov?subject=Public%20Records%20Policy>. Requests should be accompanied by contact information, including if possible a working telephone number, an email address other than one sponsored by MuckRock News, a physical address where correspondence may be sent and received other than one associated with MuckRock News, and proof of Tennessee citizenship (a Tennessee drivers license or other state issued photo identification will usually suffice).

If you have any questions regarding this matter, you may contact me at the address listed below but please do not do so using computer-generated form correspondence as has been provided by and through Muckrock News in the past, as such correspondence has proven useless in providing any type of meaningful response.
